Royal Shocker – Prince Harry Desperately Sought ‘Escape’ From Royal Family

According to a new book “Finding Freedom” set to be released on August 11, 2020, Prince Harry desperately sought to ditch his family and get the heck out of Dodge. Okay, the book by Carolyn Durrand and Omid Scobie and published by Harper Collins doesn’t come right out and say that in precisely those words, but it does cast Prince Harry as a more than reluctant Royal.

Now, this may or may not be true concerning Prince Harry since the authors of the book never actually interviewed either Prince Harry or Meghan Markle. Indeed, as one of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s spokesmen noted: “This book is based on the authors’ own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting.”

Still, some of the claims made by the authors are interesting although questionable considering certain facts. For example, the book which is called “Finding Freedom” asserts that: “While the British media often blamed royal wives, in Harry’s case, he was very much on board with distancing himself from the public eye. It’s why he gravitated toward the military, had always avoided the pomp as much as he could, and didn’t give his child a title.”

The authors continued, noting that Prince Harry: “Long craved a life away from the prying eyes of the media. Meghan simply emboldened him to make the change. She supported him no matter what.”

With that said, many fans of the British Royal Family as well as casual observers are laughing and rolling their eyes at such statements. This is particularly true concerning statements about Prince Harry wanting to distance himself from the public eye. If anything, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s actions since arriving in the United States have put the lie to that notion.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done everything in their power to get back into the limelight since stepping back from their royal duties and distancing themselves from Buckingham Palace. Indeed, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been seen in multiple venues and on a myriad of platforms forcing their political views down the throats of anyone who will listen. They’ve intentionally signed with one of the most prestigious public speaking firms in America (which has also signed former presidents Clinton and Obama as well as their wives).

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want privacy? Everyone knows at this point that this claim by Prince Harry as an ostensible reason for “Megxit” was a bald-faced lie.

While Harry’s actions do seem to be in line with a desire to distance himself from his family … things like asking to be introduced as “just Harry,” refusing to give his son a title, and apparently trying to appear like a commoner … the idea that Prince Harry is doing it because of privacy is literally a joke. Prince Harry may have had his reasons to leave the U.K. and his family, but a desire for privacy either wasn’t one of those reasons … or his views changed drastically once setting foot in L.A.

Either way, one wonders if “Finding Freedom” and its assertions concerning Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will end up being an embarrassment to the authors. The answer lies in whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s behavior continue to contradict the book’s claims … or not.
