Samantha Markle Blaming Doria Ragland For Not Including Thomas Markle In Baby Archie’s Birth

Now that Meghan Markle has given birth to her son Archie Harrison, her estranged sister Samantha Markle sure does have a lot to say about it. Even though they haven’t spoken to each other in years, Samantha has given one press interview after another.

All the while she’s trying to encourage Meghan to reach out to her father Thomas Markle, who she also hasn’t spoken to in the last year. Meghan and Thomas had a falling out after he failed to show up at her royal wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle last year.

Despite all of the turmoil in their family, Samantha thinks that the birth of little Archie can help heal the rift between everyone. She even had a few positive things to say about the baby.

“I think Archie is a cool name and I thought he looked cute,” Samantha said in an interview with Britain’s The Mirror. “I thought he looked a bit like dad. He has the Markle nose.”

However, Samantha Markle believes that Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland could have done a better job of trying to convince Meghan to reach out to her estranged father.

Doria has been with Meghan in London for the last several weeks and was even by her side when she gave birth to Archie. However, Meghan is yet to call her father, with many assuming that the former television lighting director might never get to meet his royal grandson.

Samantha added: “She could have said ‘get your dad out here.’ But sadly there seemed to be a lack of effort. We always have been desperate to heal the rift, but it’s up to Meghan to reach out now.

“Life is short and precious so I hope having the baby will soften her feelings and she will do the right thing.”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the feud between her and her Markle family members. The only person that she has been able to confide in is her mother Doria. The Duchess of Sussex is planning to be on her maternity leave for the next three months.
