Samantha Markle Reacts To Meghan Markle’s Pregnancy News

It was only a matter of time before Samantha Markle would have something to say about the royal pregnancy news. As a matter of fact, Meghan Markle’s estranged sister made it pretty clear that she has some high expectations for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex now that they are expecting their first child together. What’s more, Samantha claims that she “won’t be happy” if things don’t turn out her way, either.

Meghan Markle hasn’t spoken to her estranged sister in years but that hasn’t stopped Samantha from continuously commenting about her life and all of the dirty family laundry that she keeps on airing out in public. Samantha insists that Meghan is making a huge mistake by alienating their father Thomas Markle from her life. Meghan reportedly hasn’t spoken to her father ever since he failed to show up at her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in May.

And now Samantha is hoping that Meghan Markle’s baby news will help heal the rifts in their family. She told Britain’s The Sun in an interview, “It just makes everything that happened over the last year disappear. I want Meghan to be happy and calm and have peace. Everybody needs to be positive. I would hope that — for the sake of the baby, the family, the world and my dad — that leaving him out of the statement was not intentional.”

Samantha also said that it would be in Meghan’s best interest if she included her father in the baby’s life. She added, “I hope my dad is included and at a proper time. If he is excluded, I won’t be happy. It is in the best interests of the baby for my dad to be included. A baby changes everything and softens everyone. I would only hope that there would be some adjustment or some way of including him.”
