Serena Williams Shares New Advice For Pal Meghan Markle

Serena Williams is concerned for her good friend, Meghan Markle, but it’s not exactly what you think. The tennis champion thinks that the Duchess of Sussex is being “too nice,” despite the fact that she is already several months into her pregnancy. According to Serena, she’s surprised that Prince Harry’s wife hasn’t experienced all of the emotional ups and downs that are usually associated with pregnancies.

As a matter of fact, Serena said that she thinks Meghan is “too sweet” and is surprised at how well she’s managed to juggle all of her royal duties and obligations. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently expecting their first royal child together.

“I’m like, ‘How are you?’ and she’s like, ‘No, how are you?’ and I’m like, ‘You’re so sweet, but I’m really asking – how are YOU?'” the tennis ace told People Magazine at an event for her clothing line in Miami. “I’m like, ‘Meghan, stop being so nice … you’re the pregnant one, aren’t you supposed to have hormones, why are you so sweet?’ But that’s always been her.”

If that weren’t enough, Serena also said that she gave her good friend parenting advice. Serena and her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, share a one-year-old daughter, also named Alexis. We can’t wait to see little Alexis have playdates with her future little royal friend!
