Suits Creator Addresses Meghan Markle Reports

Is Meghan Markle going back to Suits? That’s what a lot of her fans can’t help but wonder as there was previous speculation that the Duchess of Sussex would be briefly returning for a special guest appearance on the USA network legal drama. Series creator Aaron Korsh is opening up about who might be coming back as the show is ending with its ninth and final season. Meghan played Rachel Zane from 2011 until 2017.

Speaking to Deadline, Korsh says that right now he’s still working on all of the logistics and hopes that the original cast will be back to say one final good-bye.

“As of this minute I don’t know which of our old original cast will be back and which won’t because we’re so early in the season,” he said. “I can tell you that those things in the papers, I have no idea what they’re talking about.”

So far Meghan Markle herself hasn’t made any comments on whether or not she would be willing to reprise her role on Suits, although at this point it seems doubtful that she would. After all, she has a new life at Kensington Palace in London with her husband, Prince Harry. Not only has Meghan been working back-to-back royal engagements, but she’s also expecting her first child with Harry. The baby is due sometime at the end of April.
