The stress of moving to a new house is something, I guess, everyone who has moved will attest to. At the beginning stages, it’s about finding where things are, before you really begin to arrange furniture and stuff to find a new normal location for them, and then of course there’s commuting to work, getting used to the neighborhood, the list goes on…
For the former Cambridge family, their move couldn’t have come at a more stressful time. Why? It was mere days after their move that the Queen died. In fact, the Queen’s death, which happened on the afternoon of September 8, came roughly two days after their three children started a new term at Lambrook School.
Royal Experts Reveal Princess Kate Is Of The Opinion That This Isn’t “The Settling Period” They Hoped For
Prince William and Princess Kate, both 40, and their three children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, are still adapting to their new neighborhood. It’s going to take some getting used to, as, according to royal experts, they moved in order to be closer to the Late Queen Elizabeth.
Apart from doing things a little differently this time round – they don’t have an in-house staff – the couple reportedly want to continue their approach to hands-on parenting, and with their royal calendar usually packed with engagements, it’s proving stressful.
During a chat with Nicholl on TalkTV’s “Royal Tea”, host Sarah Hewson said, “Katie, you said this week she has been under pressure, she has been stressed of late and that William and Kate have not had the settling-in period they might have been hoping for of their new life” (via OK!). “Absolutely,” Nicholl answered. “They’ve said that themselves… that this hasn’t been the settling period that they had hoped for.
“Of course, they made that big move just after the summer holidays to move to Windsor. A significant and pretty bold move leaving Kensington Palace, enrolling the children in new schools, setting up a new life for themselves in Windsor.
“Of course, no one could have expected that the Queen would have died just at the start of all of that. Very, very difficult times. I think behind the scenes there is a fair bit of stress and anxiety for all of the family.”

[…] You know that phrase “action speaks louder than words?” I doubt most people practice it as well as the Princess of Wales. What am I talking about? […]
