Well, color us surprised with this one. There’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle has not been telling the truth about her new lifestyle brand, As Ever. In fact, the ugly truth has come out about it and needless to say, her fans are not happy about it at all.

That’s because it looks like the Duchess of Sussex has not been making her As Ever products by hand and selling them out of her kitchen, as was previously assumed. Or at least, that’s what she wanted her fans to think.

Instead, her supposedly crafted “at home” jams have been made in a factory that is some 2,000 miles away from her own kitchen in Montecito, California.

Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Good! Call me old fashioned, but I prefer my food to come from an industry kitchen with quality control and supervision by the health department.”

“Idk how I would feel about mass product food product coming from somebodies residential kitchen.”

Another critic wrote, “The UK media is full of imbeciles and I say that as a Brit because why tf would Meghan be selling jam she makes in her kitchen?”

“Instead of worrying about an American company owned by an American woman which only operates in America, why don’t they ask Charles why his Duchy Organics company selling apples grown in Chile? Are British apples not good enough for British people?”

And then there was this comment as well: “LMAO, they really wanted Archie and Lilibet selling jam and honey at a lemonade stand at the end of their driveway.”

“What did these people think everyone was doing? Sitting around and watch Meghan hand make everything?”

So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
