The View: Co-Host Joy Behar Calls King Charles ‘Petty’ Over Harry And Meghan Eviction

On March 2, it was reported that the Duke of Sussex’s father has asked him to vacate the Frogmore Cottage which was given to Prince Harry and his wife by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2018.

The reason behind the eviction of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from their UK home had to do with Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir “Spare” in which he exposed some never-before-heard news about the Royal Family.

The reason doesn’t rest solely on his banter with his brother, rather it rests more on the comments Harry made about his stepmom Queen Camilla.

Since the news that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are being kicked out from their UK home Frogmore Cottage by King Charles III, every Royal fan has a thing or two to say about it.

Among the people who shared their opinion concerning the situation are “The View” co-hosts Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Sara Haines. Joy didn’t means words while describing the King’s action as “Petty” & “Corrupt.”

Alyssa on the other hand said, “It is petty and cringy of King Charles. [But] you can’t just do 300 pages of everything you were wronged by your family — I guess you can — but then to expect to peacefully live on the family property?” While Sara said, “I think it’s petty, I don’t think it’s great. But they left, let them keep their dumb cottage.”

A year after Harry and Meghan received the house, they came under fire for using $2.4 million from the taxpayer-funded Sovereign Grant to renovate the property. While Prince Harry is set to relocate his belongings, it was also reported that King Charles has the intention of handing over the keys of Frogmore Cottage to his disgraced junior brother Prince Andrew.

However, there are reports that Prince Andrew who was stripped of his titles and also asked to vacate his living space at Buckingham Palace earlier this year has no intention of taking King Charles up on his offer. A source close to the Royals shared exclusively to “The U.S. Sun” that “Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week. But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction.”

In January, a source revealed to “The U.S. Sun” that, “Any presence at the Palace is officially over. The King has made it clear. He isn’t a working royal. He’s on his own.” The outlet also reported that King Charles III has plans of renovating Buckingham Palace with the sum of $400 million. But that’s not the best part. The best part is that, although the renovation will include Prince Andrew’s living space, King Charles III no longer wants Prince Andrew in the Palace.

A source revealed to U.S. Sun, “The King has made it clear that Buckingham Palace is no place for Prince Andrew.” The source went on to reveal, “Andrew loved having a suite at Buckingham Palace where he was not only set up for marital life with Sarah Ferguson but used it as a bachelor’s pad after his divorce.” Be sure to catch up on everything happening with The View right now.
