British Royal family news suggests that everyone can’t help but wonder why a decision was made at the last minute for Prince Harry to fly to Balmoral Castle solo even though his wife Meghan Markle was supposed to go with him. Apparently, there’s a reason why the Duchess of Sussex didn’t go to Scotland to pay her respects to the queen before she died. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Page Six, Meghan Markle was left behind in London because she wouldn’t have received the reception that she would have expected from other senior members of the royal family such as King Charles, Prince William, and others. At the same time, Kate Middleton also stayed behind at Windsor to be with her three children, who had just started their first day of school.
BBC royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell said, “She might not be terribly warmly welcomed, to be perfectly candid about it.”
While the Sussexes haven’t said anything about the matter on their end, it’s been noted that Prince Harry arrived to Balmoral significantly later than everyone else. He also was the first to leave Scotland on Friday morning, suggesting that there still is a lot of iciness between him and other members of the royal family. Some have speculated that Meghan might have been the reason why Harry was held back in London. He missed his final opportunity to say good-bye to his beloved grandmother.

On Thursday, the Royal Family shared an announcement via Twitter that said, “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
The royal was preceded in death by her husband, Prince Philip, who spent more than seven decades supporting the queen. The Duke of Edinburgh, Britain’s longest-serving consort, died in April 2021 at age 99. Elizabeth and Philip were married for more than 70 years and had four children: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

What I find absolutely astonishing is that Harry and Meghan can try to present themselves as charitable, compassionate and enlightened to such a degree they feel at liberty to lecture the world, but in reality they are so selfishly spiteful, ignorant, uncaring and uncouth to the point that they will assist their elderly, sick and dying relatives into their graves with their last memories of these two uncouth individuals being nothing but spiteful, attention seeking interviews with media channels and outlets seeking to make money on family gossip and pain. For people who think they are so enlightened and clever, when are they going to learn not to continue to hurt people, especially their elderly relatives. Their actions are in complete conflict and contradiction to everything they proclaim to be. Will they learn their lesson this time or will they just put on fake sadness and play the grief card until they regroup and resume their campaign on Meghans father and Charles chasing them both into their deathbeds with stress and worry from slanderous media interviews and dubious tales of their poor treatment. I see plenty of victims in their drama but its not them I see suffering. How can anyone stand in front of a crowd for charity, giving a lecture and speech when just days before they have released a deliberately spiteful and unnecessary attack again on a family who’s matriarch is so frail and unwell. I see no genuine charity, love or compassion in such a person.

It’s not so much the money, it’s Meghan need to be up front and the center of everyone’s attention! She loves the camera, she is always camera ready! Its so sad that Prince Harry has not wised up to her. Her treatment of her family should have an indication of her personality. No family but mother at the wedding, really your are going to marry a real Prince ? If it was me, I would have family coming out of the wood work!

I totally and absolutely agree with you 1,000%. Some day this will call come back to bit there where it hurts the most, I am of the firm belief that what you put out to others will come back to you tenfold. If this does not wake Harry up now, then nothing ever will. Meghan will never be accepted in the royal family again and that is on her totally because of her lies and actions and behavior. Harry knows better, he grew up in the royal family and know just how it works so there is NO sympathy for him ever. Karma will in time take care of them.

All his old friends and family are here. I just hope he can live with his conscience when his book comes out, if he has slagged off his family and the land of his birth. Jazz you are giving 100% credence to the press, where you seem to be getting your info. So much is supposition. You are forgetting Harry and Meagan have been snubbed because she is half black. Snubbed because she is American, inquiries made about the color of their children, invited and then uninvited to events and a smear campaign behind closed doors from the Royal staff much like Diana encountered from the Firm. Harry and Meagan have a right to be upset too. William is stubborn and can be cold and aloof. That’s what I see coming from him now towards his brother.

It wouldn’t surprise me if she didn’t go to Balmoral because, like they stated, she wouldn’t get the warm welcome she feels she deserves. It was painfully obvious that she was suffering during Her Platinum Jubilee, yet, he takes off without a backward glance.
This is exactly what makes me so angry with these two. Someone has tried to call me a racist but my criticism of Harry and Meghan has nothing to do with race. My issue with them is their hypocrisy. They lecture us about charity but their treatment of elderly, sick and dying people is disgusting. I don’t proclaim to be perfect but I could NEVER treat sick and elderly people like the have and I certainly wouldn’t treat my family like they have done. I don’t think they would get any sympathy at all if it were not for people who obviously dislike the royal family. These people need to take the “royal” out of this and ask themselves how would they really feel if they were witnessing this happening in their own family. I saddens me that elderly grandparents have gone to their graves with spiteful comments exploited by money making media outlets feed by selfish, spiteful grandchildren.
My heart and soul goes out to the Royal family for the loss of a gracious woman! It’s I truly sad that Queen Elizabeth had to go through the heartache of her divided family during her final journey here on this earth. She is now with her beloved husband Philip rejoicing in heaven!
We will never know what went on behind the scenes nor do I want or need to know. But let’s not forget the way she was to Princess Diana. RIP Queen Elizabeth.

Megan has been out to bring down the monarchy from the beginning when she realized her role was significantly different from Kate. She deliberately ignored PDA rules for the royals. She needed to be in constant touching of Harry for control. They may truly be in love but I think she needs a controll mechanism over Harry. Kate and William have been married longer, follow Royal protocol and have different roles than Meghan and Harry. They don’t have to prove their love and respect for each other in front of cameras like Megan. Opening a car door for Kate is different from Megan. William is probably used to a footman to assist both of them getting in a car. William is suffering as much if not more than Harry. I don’t feel sorry for the Sussex side. They made this decision. Go back to America and become regular citizens without their titles to get attention. Kate and William are on a different and regimented life to serve and be dutiful to the Royal life and citizens. They are not self serving like the Sussex. They all are human. The press needs to back off and stop starting vicious attacks and gossip.
