This Princess Went Wild When She Met Tia Mowry

British royal family news shows that Princess Eugenie has plenty of star connections, including her friendship with cousin-in-law Meghan Markle.

But there was one celeb who made a huge and lasting impression on the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

On the “White Wine Question Time” podcast, Eugenie told host Kate Thornton all about the time she was blown away by meeting Tia Mowrey.

She started off by saying “Have you seen that TV show called ‘Sister, Sister’? Remember that TV show? It was on Nickelodeon …” she added that “’Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ and ‘Kenan & Kel’ were her and sister Beatrice’s favorite shows.

And, despite being a ranking member of the royal family, she fangirled when she met her Mowry: “I met one of the sisters, Tia, the other night, and, oh, my gosh, I got so overexcited!”

The celeb watcher’s proper title is Princess Eugenie of York and she is thought to be the only royal to have visited Harry and Meghan in California.

In case you’re not familiar with the show that was such a hit with Eugenie, the popular ’90s sitcom starred real life twins Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry.

On the show they “portrayed sisters who had been separated at birth and were reunited as teenagers. The show follows their characters, Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell, as they move in together and with their adoptive parents.

The show’s success helped catapult the twin sisters to teen stardom, and “Sister, Sister” ran for six seasons until 1999.”

According to TheList.com, Eugenie claimed that when she saw Tia “I was like, ‘Oh, my God,’ and I took a picture and sent it to [Beatrice], and it was every ’90s child’s dream in front of me.”

She also shared another story about seeing a celeb, but this time managed to keep her cool.

Apparently she spotted “an unnamed actor from the film “The Truth About Cats and Dogs?” and Eugiene noted that she ran up to him and was like, ‘I’m such a big fan, Oh my god, oh my god,’ and I totally fangirled out.”

Royal Family News – Princess Eugenie’s Celeb Meetups

Princess Eugenie is an associate director of the art gallery Hauser & Wirth. The Princess wed Jack Brooksbank in 2018 and they have two sons together.

It could be that her enthusiasm for the world of entertainment could have come from her mother, Sarah Ferguson, who is friends with Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Demi Moore.
