Apparently, it all had to do with a photo snub. There’s a new report that says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle knew that they didn’t want to be royals anymore after they were supposedly snubbed from a photo that only a few selected senior royals were in back in 2020. Here’s what you need to know.

A photo that only had Queen Elizabeth, Prince William, Prince Charles at the time and young Prince George was the breaking point for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Soon after the photo was released, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had announced that they were stepping down from their positions as full-time royals. This was back in January 2020.
According to royal author Andew Morton, he says that the photo left Harry and Meghan with a bad taste in their mouths. He writes about the moment in his new book, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.
He says, “The royal couple suspected that the entire institution was conspiring against them. As they saw it, the evidence was all around them. The unspoken code was straightforward: the future of the monarchy was assured, with or without Meghan and Harry.”

Royal Family News: Harry And Meghan Were Snubbed
Two days after the photo was released, Harry and Meghan called it quits with the royal family.
They released a statement at the time that said, “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.
We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment.”

Now, whether or not that photo helped Harry and Meghan make their decision about their future is anyone’s guess. But if there’s one thing we do know, it’s that they certainly did leave the UK and haven’t looked back since.

They are ignorant! The photo was of the Queen…and the hiers to the crown. Considering how jealous H&M are of William…it makes sense they would try to grab sympathy…! Grow up Harry…and drag your wife along with you.
No that photo had nothing to do with them stepping Dow. She made up her mind about leaving before marrying Her lap dog. She didn t like doing Royal Duties without getting paid and she also realized that she could never be # 1. So decided to punish the RF by taking Harry along for the ride.
I agree, Meghan wanted the popularity but not all the work that goes with it . She wanted things her way & couldn’t handle it never would be . She needs to grow up. As for Harry, he will regret one day leaving his family.
If this is true… Harry & Meghan, Markle, or two of the biggest fools in the world! Seriously? The photograph had the queen, Charles, William and George… And if you know anything about anything with the royal family, this was a photograph of the present monarch, and the three future monarchs! If Harry and Megan didn’t get that obvious arrangement, then good riddance to bad rubbish! Harry and MM should be ashamed of themselves for causing such trouble to the queen years before she died… The woman was 96 years old… Why did they cause more anguish in that woman? Because they are selfish, and it just proves that Megan actually thought she was gonna be queen one day? and she wanted the spotlight and was pissed off that she had to curtsy to Catherine! If this is the reason that they quit the royal family… They are petty, and they deserve the future that they have carved out for themselves… Which isn’t a very good life… They’re spending money left right and Center there grifters! It’s the way The House Of Winsor works. Harry has always known this. For him to think otherwise now says a lot about his marriage to MM. I only have pity for them both. The UK does not need them.
