When it comes to Queen Camilla and her relationship with Prince Harry’s wife, a lot of people have long wanted to know: were they friends or just friendly foes? Well, it seems like things were indeed very complicated between them.

As much as King Charles and Queen Camilla did want to welcome Meghan Markle into the royal family, it seems like Meghan was making things a tad bit too difficult.

Just last year, Camilla looked like the queen that she is when she stepped out in a Christian Dior cape gown and Queen Elizabeth’s sapphire earrings and necklace.

For Meghan Markle, this has got to hurt. That’s because there were reports earlier this year suggesting that she and Prince Harry were going to sign a multi-million dollar contract with Christian Dior.

There was also a report that suggested Queen Camilla had shut down any possibility of having peace talks with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

What’s Really Going On With Queen Camilla And Meghan Markle?

Queen Camilla  thinks that both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should keep their distance away from King Charles, and especially now since his health is in such poor shape because of his cancer battle.

Clearly, the hate runs deep between the royal family and Prince Harry’s wife and sadly, it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon. 

However, according to royal expert and author Angela Levin, who has written a new book about Camilla Parker Bowles, she said that the now Queen Consort had organized a lunch for Meghan and Harry but unfortunately, her kind gesture had no impact.

She wrote, “Camilla and Charles wanted to show their support and invited Harry and Meghan plus their friend Lucia Santa Cruz to lunch at Highgrove.”

“As a surprise, Camilla went out of her way to make sure the lunch consisted only of recipes from Meghan’s cookbook, and that included a very hot salsa. It was a really nice gesture.’ One that made no impact.”
