Why Prince George, Princess Charlotte & Prince Louis Did Not Visit Mom Princess Kate In the Hospital

As Princess Kate continues to recuperate in the hospital, she’s been visited by her husband Prince William and even King Charles, who has, himself, just recently checked into a London facility for prostate surgery.

In fact, our source says Prince William visits Kate at the hospital every day, but the children have been nowhere in sight.

Reason Why the Wales Children Haven’t Visited Kate Middleton In the Hospital Revealed

While sources have revealed that Kate talks to the children via video calls, they haven’t actually made the trip to the hospital to spend time at her side while she covers.

The reason for this, apart from protecting them from the press at such a precarious time, comes down to the fact that they’re still going to school. Apparently, Kate doesn’t want to be a distraction from their studies.

At the same time, they want to maintain a sense of normalcy for the children, as William took a break from his rotal duties to be with them. The source told The Sun that the couple wanted Kate’s “absence to feel as normal as possible for the youngsters.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales have often been described as “hands-on parents,” often putting their jobs second to be parents first.

According to a new royal biography published by Robert Hardman, the Waleses function as a well oiled unit when it comes to parenting.

“We know they are a very tight family unit, and he [William] wants to be there for them,” Hardman wrote in the biography, adding, “So much of what they do with those kids is about normalizing life and not making them feel like they are in a special gilded cage.”

When it comes to their children’s upbringing, they don’t leave it all to the nanny, as we’ve seen them doing school runs. They also get involved in their school activities. In fact, the couple no longer keep a live-in nanny.

A royal source also claimed that the Middleton family is pitching in at this difficult time, with Carole Middleton reportedly occasionally picking the children up from school.
