“Sister Wives’“ Gwendlyn Brown Calls Out “Cowardly” Kody Brown

Kody Brown has seen three of his four “spiritual wives” desert him following the departure of Christine from the polygamous marriage in 2021.

Two years on, Christine Brown’s fourth child Kody Brown accused her father of “having a lot of double standards” when it comes to his relationships.

Gwendlyn Brown has finally had enough of his father’s unfair treatment of her mother. She shared a YouTube reaction video to one of the “Sister Wives’” episode where Kody Brown claimed he had acted “a little cowardly” during his marriage with Christine, adding, “Maybe I should have told her that I didn’t like her, but what I didn’t do was I didn’t quit.”

Shocked, the 21-year-old slammed her father for not wanting her mother to be independent. “I think it’s more cowardly to be in a relationship where you don’t love somebody than it is to leave instead of experiencing heartbreak.”

Responding to her father’s negative reaction to Christine’s newly found independence, she said, “What’s she supposed to do if she’s not independent? He has three other wives. What’s she supposed to do? Just sit in the corner and braid her hair?”

In another part of the video, she accused Kody of having “a lot of double standards” when it comes to how he handles his relationship with Christine as opposed to the one he has with Janelle.

The reality star also reacted to a fan labelling her famous father a “massive misogynist”, saying, “I’m just glad it’s not something I inherited because that would suck.”

She added: “I think the way he was raised made it difficult for him to get out of those ideas — which is not an excuse. You can get out of the kind of thoughts that you think. Dad’s opinions and thoughts tend to benefit him, I think, so that’s why I assume he chooses to think that way.”
