90 Day Fiance Alum Paul Staehle Lives In Extreme Poverty In Brazil

90 Day Fiance alum, Paul Staehle is reportedly living in abject poverty, and influencer John Yates felt so sorry for him, he asked his followers about how they could help. Read on to find out more and read the reactions by TLC fans.

A Controversial Character

Paul Staehle started out on the franchise as a rather laughable character. After all, he ran off into the Brazilian forest when he thought he was being arrested as a terrorist. However, over time he became less funny. At one stage, folks called CPS on him and Karine Martins because of the state of perceived neglect of their kids.

Then, when he and Karine lost custody of the children, he took his son Pierre away and a wanted notice arrived. Well, he then fled the country and went to Brazil, where stories of him disappearing into the jungle arose. Then, folks started talking about the very young women in his life.

Living In Poverty 

Well, he also dragged influencer John Yates into his problems during the investigation into his so-called disappearance in the Amazon. So John, not unreasonably, showed less interest in his problems, and those of Karine Martins. But, he felt so moved by Paul’s current poverty, that he talked about it on Instagram this week.

Apparently, Paul Staehle went live on John’s YouTube. While there, he showed the residence he stays in. According to John,  the 90 Day Fiance alum deserves better. In his long caption, he said:

He’s living with no walls, ceilings that rain on him, horrible black mold running rampant which is airborne effecting him and his animals that live in the house. I am just shocked that this could be allowed and how he lives in such squalor. After he was a mainstay on the show for 7 plus years it’s eye opening to see how everything can be taken from you…

He also told his 90 Day Fiance followers that he doesn’t know “how Sharp could allow their once bread and butter cast members to be living in conditions worse than poverty.” Notably, he agreed that GoFundMe isn’t the answer.

Fans React

In his caption, John Yates also mentioned that he offered Paul accommodation. But, TLC fans don’t think that’s wise. And, a lot of them think that Paul needs to live with the consequences of his own actions.

One person commented, “You have a soft spot for him, but this isn’t it John. The man is an adult & lost his children, his wife and lives this way because of his choices.”
