A few years ago, 90 Day Fiance fans were unlikely to shout the praises of Anfisa Arkhipchenko, a.k.a Anfisa Nava. Recall, when Jorge Nava ended up in prison for drug-related crimes, they blamed her for it. But perceptions changed over the years, and now that she graduated, congrats poured in. Plus, folks were happy to get some tips about higher education.

Back in 2020, TLC fans heard that Jorge lost a lot of weight in prison. Meanwhile, word circulated that Anfisa cheated on him. However, it seemed to work out for the best when they split. These days, Jorge is a free man on the straight and narrow. He’s now with someone else and they have a child together. Meanwhile, Anfisa worked hard to make a new life with body transformation and a college degree. 

90 Day Fiance fans know that 2022 has been a great year for Anfisa Arkhipchenko Nava. In late July, the Russian received her American citizenship. Taking to her Instagram, she proudly posted up a photo of herself with her new documentation. Not long before that, she mentioned that she graduated from the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business. This week, she gave some tips on how she did it without running into debt.

On September 21, Anfisa shared quite a long post along with her graduation photo. It included a lot of tips, and the TLC star said, “I graduated from one of the top 10 public schools in the US without debt!” How did she manage that? Well, firstly, she said that she attended “a community college for 2 years and then transferred to UC Irvine.” Although it cost her”$800-$900 per semester,”  she noted that she might have qualified for assistance. So, she advised her fans to always apply for it.

According to the 90 Day Fiance star it’s advisable not to attend a college out of state, as it’s much more expensive. Furthermore, Anfisa thinks that rushing into college straight out of high school might be a mistake. After all, if you wait until the age of 24, then your costs are calculated on your own income, rather than your parents’. She said, “At that age, you are considered an independent student for financial aid purposes.”

90 Day Fiance fabs heard that Anfisa advised that a lot of kids don’t know what they want to study until they are a bit older. So, holding off a bit also means that they can “get a lot more grants and won’t have to take out loans.”
