As seen on the most recent episode, 52-year-old Lisa traveled to Nigeria to meet her online love interest, an entertainer who goes by the stage name “SojaBoy.” The two have a large age difference, but they may face more issues than just that.

While Lisa made it to Nigeria, she has been staying in a hotel and hasn’t yet seen his home. That will happen this Sunday and let’s just say, she is disappointed and shocked.

The Bedroom: 3 Men and a Child

According to Entertainment Tonight, Usman takes Lisa to his home in Kaduna, which he shares with two roommates. Not only do they share a home, but all three of them sleep in the same bedroom. There is also a mattress on the floor that appears to be for a child. Usman says, “In our culture, it’s normal. You’re just, you’re all men, you’re all guys. No problem.”

However, the bedroom is nothing compared to what Lisa sees in the bathroom. It literally consists of two buckets. One holds enough water to bathe in, Usman explains to her. What the second bucket is for (hopefully) requires no explanation. Lisa can no longer hide her shock and says,

“Oh my God. You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Lisa Hamme’s Unrealistic Expectations

It is clear that the 90 Day Fiance season 4 star had some unrealistic expectations. Even though Usman is an entertainer, she seems to have expected an A-list celebrity and his home should match. In fact, she comments,

“Usman’s home does not feel like a celebrity’s home to me at all.”

First of all, the living conditions in Nigeria are quite different than in the United States. What we consider poverty-stricken here, Nigerians may view as a palace-like luxury. So, she shouldn’t have expected it to look like a Beverly Hills mansion.

There is also the fact that just because someone is an entertainer doesn’t mean they are wealthy. While he is popular in Nigeria, that doesn’t mean he is rich. Besides, wealth can mean very different things depending on where in the world you are located.

It has already been made clear by fans that they feel Usman has ulterior motives with Lisa. One of his goals is to become “the king of hip hop and R&B” in the United States. By marrying Lisa, that would be a stepping stone into getting him into America.

On the other hand, Lisa might have her own ulterior motives. It seems by her comments, that she truly thought Usman would be living a celebrity-type life. When thinking about marriage, that should be the least of one’s concerns.

There is another factor that could break this couple. While Lisa thinks he is much better looking in person, Usman admitted to cameras the opposite. Girl, he’s just not that into you, as the saying goes. This seems to be confirmed by the fact that she catches him texting another woman and the conversation should be a huge red flag.
