In Season 6, the couple immediately took care of Kalani’s K-1 visa the moment they found out that she was pregnant with their first child.

Their relationship was never easy, but they were able to overcome the challenges and ended up involving themselves in sacred matrimony as well as welcoming their second child.

However, during the “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” spin-off, Kalani struggled to be a stay-at-home mom while Asuelu had a difficult time providing for his family.

The problem arose when their respective family didn’t approve of them being together. After a series of disagreements, last June 2022, Asuelu announced that he was single.

During the premiere episode of “90 Day: The Last Resort,” Kalani voiced the truth about how she discovered her ex-husband’s infidelity. It all started when Asuelu went back to Samoa where he spent a lot of time drinking and partying”.

“In one of their video calls, the man asked Kalani why his tongue was white. She then expressed her disappointment believing that it was a yeast infection due to kissing someone on the mouth or kissing someone “down there.”

On the other hand, Asuelu admitted his affair and stated that he truly kissed another woman on one of his nightouts.

He then gave his former wife a “hall pass” to kiss somebody else. However, he was upset when Kalani really did kiss someone, and other than that, she made a special connection with him.

Kalani Faagata Answers A Fan’s Speculation

In other news, the mother-of-two was filled with questions online following her revelation about Asuelu’s affair.

One social media follower asked, “Was Asuelu really the first? Hmmm.” Kalani then stated that she was raised Mormon and was taught to save herself for marriage. When she stepped out of the church, she vowed to sleep with the first person she loved.

“That’s why the cheating was so devastating,” she wrote. “People wait longer than that, it really wasn’t that big of a deal,” she added.

Moreover, the TLC star revealed that she felt “disgusting and guilty” after intimacy during the beginning of their marriage. Right now, Kalani is in a happy relationship with a man named Dallas Nuez whom she made as a “hall pass” after Asuelu cheated.
