Amber Johnston Reveals Nephew’s Miracle Survival

7 Little Johnstons‘ star Amber Johnston took to her social media this weekend and revealed that her nephew probably survived a fatal accident because of his dwarfism. In July, he suffered a terrible accident but made it through. Did you know that? Read on to find out more.

A Terrible Accident Could Have Killed The Nephew Of Amber Johnston 

If you have not heard about a relative of TLC stars Amber and Trent Johnston nearly dying, then don’t fret. Hardly anyone else heard about it either judging by Google Search results. However, it seems fascinating because it seems that if he had not been a little person, he could be a lot worse off, or probably dead. 

7 Little Johnstons’ fans have met some of the extended family, but certainly, not all of them. Some TLC family members prefer to stay off reality TV. And, others are so far removed from the storyline that they simply don’t have an opportunity to be on camera. Well, Trent and Amber Johnston have a relative, a nephew, who nearly died. And, you might have never heard of him: especially as the 7 Little Johnstons’ star didn’t name him. 

TLC Star’s Nephew Saved By Dwarfism?

On Sunday night, the TLC matriarch took to Instagram and shared a photo of someone looking worse for wear in a hospital. Then, she shared about how the family had kept the accident a “private matter.” However, perhaps they fear that the media will get their hands on the news. Otherwise, why even mention it?

In a very long caption, Amber Johnston told her 7 Little Johnstons fans:

Per Our nephews request, we are providing accurate information and an update regarding his accident on July 19th. Until this point, family and close friends have kept the accident a private matter. The evening of July 19, our nephew was in a fender bender. He and the other driver got out to assess the damage. As he was returning back to his car, he was struck by an SUV.

Judging by her next description of her nephew’s injuries, he probably should have died. Amber Johnston mentioned an “aortic dissection, 14 broken ribs, cervical fracture, torn liver and spleen, orbital fracture, trimalleolar ankle fracture, and brain bleed.”

A Miracle Of Dwarfism For The TLC Family?

The 7 Little Johnstons’ star explained that despite all of those horrific injuries, her nephew survived. She called it a miracle, noting, “Miraculously, he is alive. He suffered no brain damage! Due to his dwarfism chest anatomy, it is believed that is what saved his life!”

Amber Johnston seemed thrilled that her nephew made it out alive. However, he has a long journey to full recovery again.
