Bob Saget’s Wife Speaks Out After Sudden Death

Shocked and grieving, Bob Saget’s wife Kelly Rizzo talked with Us Weekly about her husband’s passing. “My whole heart. Bob was my absolute everything,” mourned Rizzo.

“I am so completely shattered and in disbelief,” she added. But Saget’s widow also expressed gratitude for the tributes that have poured into the family on the news of his death. “I am so deeply touched by the outpouring of love and tribute from our friends, family, his fans and his peers,” she shared.

And for those longing to learn more about Bob, Rizzo promised to share. “When the time is right and when this news is not as raw, [I look] forward to sharing more of Bob with the world,” she vowed. “Sharing how much he meant to me, all of those around him, and how much all of his fans and friends meant to him as well. Thank you for respecting my privacy at this time.”

Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Honor TV Dad

Growing up on the TV set of “Full House,” twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen viewed Bob Saget like a real-life dad. And when the siblings learned of his death, the duo quickly expressed their love to his family. The Olsen twins also honored Bob in a statement, reported TV Line.

“Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us,” shared Mary-Kate and Ashley. “But know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has. We are thinking of his daughters, wife and family and are sending our condolences.”

Lori Loughlin Grieves For Bob Saget

Bob Saget’s death “devastated” Lori Loughlin, she told TV Line. Honoring his “kind heart and quick wit,” Loughlin shared that Bob felt like more than a co-worker. Instead, the actress viewed Saget both as a friend and family.

“Words cannot begin to express how devastated I am,” revealed Lori. “Bob was more than my friend; he was my family. I will miss his kind heart and quick wit. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful memories and laughter. I love you, Bobby.”

Saget portrayed Danny Tanner, loving dad, on “Full House” for eight seasons. In 2016, Bob returned to that role for the Netflix reboot, “Fuller House.” The spin-off lasted for five seasons. He worked closely with Lori in her role as Danny’s sister-in-law.

John Stamos And Candace Cameron Bure Honor Bob Saget

Bob Saget touched countless lives throughout his career. And his sudden passing left one co-star, John Stamos, feeling “broken,” the actor shared on Twitter. “I am gutted,” added Stamos. Feeling in shock at his friend’s sudden death, John added, “I will never ever have another friend like him.” 

And Stamos’ co-star, Candace Cameron Bure, joined the actor in remembering Bob Saget. Candace shared her heartbreak on Twitter, first with a post about his sudden death. “I don’t know what to say,” she wrote, adding a broken heart emoji. “Bob was one of the best humans beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.”

Cameron Bure followed up with the next day honoring the comedian and actor. Sharing that she had worked with Saget for 35 years, Candace added, “I don’t want to say goodbye.” The actress shared her love along with a sweet photo of the two hugging.
