Chicago Fire Season 10 Spoilers – What Will Chicago Fire Season 10 Reveal About Boat Rescue?
When we last saw the Chicago Fire squad, we joined much of the Firehouse 51 team in seeing several Squad 3 members struggle with a rescue.
The four members seemingly caught below the water’s surface included Lieutenant Kelly Severide (played by Taylor Kinney), Joe Cruz (portrayed by Joe Minoso), Tony (played by Anthony Ferraris), and Capp (portrayed by Randy Flagler).
Will their attempt to save a man in danger from a sinking boat endanger their lives beyond survival as well?
From a meta viewpoint, we doubt that Chicago Fire would begin season 10 with a funeral honoring the deaths of all four key players!
And given that Severide and Cruz repeatedly have played key roles in major story lines, we also feel neither will get written off.
That leaves us with several possibilities:
- All four Squad 3 members survive, freeing themselves successfully.
- Capp dies, a possibility because of that view of his girlfriend Mazie in the finale, which could turn into her giving his eulogy.
- Tony doesn’t survive, resulting in a larger role for Capp.
Chicago Fire Season 10 Spoilers – Chicago Fire Romances: Who Wins, Who Loses?
Beyond knowing how that cliffhanger boat rescue turns out, season 10 of Chicago Fire should provide us with a firehouse filled with romances.
In particular, we hope that Captain Matt Casey (played by Jesse Spencer) and paramedic Sylvie Brett (portrayed by Kara Killmer) stop mucking up their relationship by becoming jealous.
But Chicago Fire writers have shown a fondness for adding someone into that relationship, so season 10 could turn into “oops they did it again” with problems for Casey and Brett.
One of the more intriguing romantic possibilities from season 9 focuses on Severide and Stella Kidd (played by Miranda Rae Mayo).
However, Chicago Fire also hinted that Stella could head off to a different firehouse to take advantage of her position as a lieutenant.
Talking with EW, Mayo discussed the possibility that her character Stella would exit. “Fingers crossed. I’m not ready [to say goodbye to Stella],” shared Miranda. But the actress then admitted the need to get prepared to leave.
“There’s just a part of this industry though that I think it’s healthy and good to practice detachment by really embracing the impermanent nature of life,” she reflected. “And how everything changes and everything grows. So, no matter what happens, this has been one of the most transformational experiences of my life. But, you know, you always gotta be ready for what might happen.”
We’ll find out all the answers, from if anyone dies in the boat rescue to which romances thrive and which fade, when the new season begins!
