Chicago Fire Spoilers: Jesse Spencer Stars In Season 11 Finale!

Chicago Fire spoilers for the season 11 finale reveal the return of Jesse Spencer (Matt Casey). And the Chicago Fire teasers also reveal if Taylor Kinney (Kelly Severide) will join Jesse in the finale. But with or without Taylor, Jesse’s comeback promises to add some drama to wrap up season 11.

Find out about Spencer’s return to Chicago Fire. And learn if Kinney will appear in the season 11 finale with him. Get all the details below.

Chicago Fire Spoilers – Welcome Back, Matt Casey!

Jesse Spencer will star as Matt Casey in the Chicago Fire season 11 finale. Set to air Wednesday, May 24, the finale will see the return of Casey after his last appearance in episode 18. However, Taylor Kinney will not appear as Kelly Severide in the episode, reported TV Insider.

Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire, which recently received its season 12 renewal, last saw Casey in town teaming up with Homeland Security. And the task force involving Casey included Lieutenant Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). However, a reunion with paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) made for some uncomfortable moments during that episode.

But while fans welcome Spencer’s return, Taylor Kinney remains on a leave of absence. Kinney has been away since January dealing with a personal issue. Chicago Fire explained Severide’s absence previously in episode 15.

Chicago Fire Spoilers – Homeland Security Case Sparks Intrigue

Because Spencer appeared in a guest role previously this season, rumors had swirled that he would return to Chicago Fire. And spoilers for the finale tease the possibility that Casey will appear in two different plots. First, a story line hints that Brett awaits “life-changing news.” And second, Kidd discovers a promising new lead on the case involving the Homeland Security case.

During a Portland fire, Casey discovered documents that sparked suspicions. And evidence existed hinting at infrastructure attacks on several cities. Because of that possibility, the task force worked on creating a network of contacts in the targeted cities, which included Chicago.

However, amid that drama, Casey fibs about his romantic life. And in response to discovering that Brett has been seeing someone, he claims he has become involved as well. But then Casey admitted he lied.

“I’m out there,” he said about his personal life. “But nothing really sticks.” And he seems aware that he knows why. Even though Brett and Casey had ended their relationship, the possibility of his job ending in Oregon opens the door to revisiting the situation. And so Casey wants to explore if that seems like a possibility. Will the answer get revealed in the Chicago Fire season 11 finale on May 24?
