Find out what special cause resulted in the gathering of One Chicago cast members. And keep reading to learn which stars from Dick Wolf’s franchise reunited.

One Chicago Spoilers – Stars Gather For Special Cause

The beloved Dick Wolf franchise known as One Chicago currently has felt the impact of the actors’ strike. But stars from Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Fire such as Torrey DeVitto, Joe Minoso, and Marina Squerciati recently reunited for a special cause, noted People.

And the One Chicago stars united to pay tribute to a museum exhibit that partnered with Conservation International. Those who got together to boost awareness included Chicago Fire stars Joe Minoso and Kara Killmer. And Chicago P.D. cast members Marina Squerciati and Patrick John Flueger joined them.

Representing Chicago Med, Torrey DeVitto and Nick Gehlfuss showed up at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago as well. The star-studded gathering focused on a pop-up exhibit called The Blue Paradox. It showcases what happens under the ocean due to plastic pollution. SC Johnson presented the exhibit as part of a partnership with Conservation International.

Chicago Med Spoilers – Star Feels ‘Inspired’

Social media helped the One Chicago stars express their reactions to the exhibit. For instance, DeVitto, 39, portrayed Dr. Natalie Manning from 2015 to 2021 on Chicago Med. And she shared several pics from the exhibit on Instagram.

“Feeling inspired after visiting #TheBlueParadox at @msichicago last night!” gushed Torrey in her Instagram caption. And she urged, “Let’s lower our plastic footprint, together. This immersive and educational exhibit created by @scj in partnership with @conservationorg needs to be seen to believe!”

However, fans of the shows might notice something special about the gathering. The majority of the One Chicago stars who reunited represent the original cast from Dick Wolf’s franchise. For example, Minoso portrayed firefighter Joe Cruz on Chicago Fire beginning with the drama’s debut in 2012.

And Squerciati and Flueger played Officers Kim Burgess and Adam Ruzek on Chicago P.D. starting with its debut in 2014. Killmer has portrayed paramedic Sylvie Brett on Chicago Fire beginning in 2014. And though DeVitto exited Chicago Med in 2021, she did return for Gehlfuss’s last episode as Dr. Will Halstead previously this year.

However, some of the One Chicago stars have gathered on other occasions. For instance, DeVitto, Squirciati, and Chicago Med alum Yaya DaCosta reunited at New York Fashion Week last month. As for the future for Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Fire?

The writers and show-runners for the franchise headed back to work earlier this month. And NBC renewed all three shows. As a result, Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Fire will air again on NBC after the actors’ strike ends.
