Full House Stars Plan First Reunion Since Bob Saget’s Death At Special Fan Event

Bob Saget

The news of beloved TV dad Bob Saget’s death caused his family, friends, and “Full House” co-stars to mourn. And now, in the wake of that tragedy, many of his co-stars have planned their first reunion since Saget’s passing. But that gathering represents more than a reunion.

In March, the first 90s Con will take place in Hartford, Connecticut, per Yahoo. And the “Full House” cast members agreed that the event offers the perfect opportunity for a reunion. Find out which of Bob Saget’s former co-stars will attend, and their enthusiasm for the history-making panels, below.

Full House Cast Will Reunite At 90s Con

For two days, from March 11 to March 13, celebrities including many of the “Full House” cast will gather at the 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut. And Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, and Scott Weinger can’t wait to reunite at the event! In addition to the “Full House” gang, other stars from fan favorite TV shows, films, and music groups will participate on panels.

“We’re so close, that whenever and wherever we get together it’s like a family reunion,” gushed Coulier, 62. “This may sound kind of sappy. But we really do love each other. We’re a real family on and off camera.”

And Cameron Bure joined in the excitement. “I am thrilled to attend my very first 90’s con with my best friends.” But Candace also confessed that she might turn into a fan as well as a participant. “While people may be coming to meet and take photos with us, you might find me standing in line with you to meet some of my favorite 90’s celebs!” she teased. “Don’t worry, I will be fan-girling too.”

Remembering Bob Saget: How His Co-Stars Honored Beloved TV Dad

Ever since news of Bob Saget’s sudden death on January 9 spread, the 65-year-old TV dad’s co-stars have honored him. For instance, the “Full House” gang grouped together to post a joint Instagram statement. Coulier, Cameron Bure, Barber, Weinger, John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, creator Jeff Franklin and Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen all signed the memorial. “Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family. And now we grieve as a family,” read the statement.

“Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness,” they shared. “But also [we feel] gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us.”

And individual stars have posted their own memories. For instance, Coulier recalled meeting Bob at age 18. “I didn’t know then that two, struggling standup comics would end up being brothers forever,” he wrote. And he longed to “lean on you right now through all these tears. I love you.”

But Cameron Bure, 65, went even further. As a result of her years working with Saget, the actress feels that her childhood, her teen years, and her adulthood all became “wrapped up” in Bob’s guidance. And she expressed gratitude to her co-stars. “The comforting [part] is remembering the good times and laughing and telling stories and thinking, ‘Oh, Bob would’ve said this,’ or ‘Bob would’ve made this joke.’ That feels really good,” she added.
