The Hawaii Five-O/Magnum P.I. crossover event is taking place soon. Are you ready for it? The Hawaii Five-O team is on the search for WoFat’s wife. It looks like they’re going to need to help of the Magnum P.I. team. A new sneak peek of the two teams working together has been revealed, according to a report via TVLine. The event takes place on Friday, Jan. 3 in a two-part crossover.
CBS will air two episodes of Five-O and Magnum. The first episode shows McGarrett and his team “kicking down doors” to find an associate of Daiyu Mei’s at a hotel. They have no idea that Thomas Magnum and Juliet Higgins are watching the same room. As revealed in the new sneak peek, “Higgins and Magnum become witnesses that Five-O needs to help them,” according to Peter M. Lenkov. “And our two worlds collide!”
The two episodes aren’t just action-packed. There’s also plenty of comedy and light-hearted moments. In one scene, Higgins offers advice to Tani, as revealed in TVLine’s latest Inside Line column. Magnum’s Juliet, TC, Thomas, and Rick will appear on Friday’s episode of Five-O at 8 p.m. Then Tani and Quinn will continue to appear on Magnum P.I. at 9 p.m. Lenkov teased that the crossover event is like “a big-stakes story that really feels like a two-hour movie.”

The first half of the crossover was done filming back in November. And the remainder of the Five-O was nearly done at that point. This is not a random episode or a special episode. Instead, it’s following a specific story. It just so happens that two different worlds collide. Five-O previously crossed over with NCIS: Los Angeles and MacGyver. This crossover episode has fans wondering how it’s going to work since Five-O mentioned Magnum in the past.
What are your thoughts on the Hawaii Five-O/Magnum P.I. crossover event? Are you looking forward to watching it?
