TV Reboot News – What is Legends of the Hidden Temple?

The TV show was an action-adventure competition that involved six teams. They had to complete physical and mental challenges until there was only one team left. Then, those individuals would face the ultimate challenge. To enter a mysterious temple with the goal of getting an artifact that came from a well-known figure. They had to do this within a certain time limit.

The show aired on Nickelodeon for two years, from 1993 to 1995.

TV Reboot News – Nickelodeon TV Show Grows Up

According to Entertainment Weekly, Legends of the Hidden Temple is growing up. Plans to bring back the series include a few changes. One of which is for the competing players to be adults this time. One of the show’s original creators and an executive producer for the updated series, Scott A. Stone talked about the reboot.

“Bringing back Legends for Quibi is a dream come true. I have been so lucky to be part of this defining millennial show, and now there is a defining millennial platform to go with it. I couldn’t be more excited.”

TV Reboot News – Tougher Challenges and Bigger Prizes

Since Legends of the Hidden Temple will be focusing on adults this time around, that means the challenges will have to be more difficult. There will also be bigger prizes. However, there is one more twist. Instead of competing inside a studio, they will be taking the teams outdoors to the jungle.

TV Reboot News: Quibi Programming

The series will be part of the programming line-up for Quibi. The mobile-first streaming platform is set to make its big debut on April 6, 2020.
