The View is back from their break. The panel is getting louder than ever about their opinions. On the Friday, May 17 episode, they discussed various hot topics, including the rampant divorce rumors circling Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.

It started when she attended the 2024 Met Gala by herself and liked an Instagram post about unhealthy relationships.

Joy had some advice for the singer, but it wasn’t nice. She asked Jennifer to stop declaring her love for the actor. The comedian hasn’t bought into their love story. Though J.Lo was a guest on the talk show, Joy offered some cold advice.

“When you go around shouting your love from the rooftops, it gets tricky when things don’t go well,” Joy Behar said on Friday. “My advice is to keep your mouth shut.”

The 81-year-old referenced her relationship with her husband, Steve Janowitz. Although she loves him, she doesn’t tell him when they’re out in public.

“I don’t say it in private either, but still,” Joy joked. “Telling everybody how much you love each other and writing it on Instagram and on Facebook, and then you get a divorce and everybody says, ‘Oh, you see!?'”

Joy Behar admitted she didn’t want to “gossip about people” on the show, especially when they were guests. However, she noticed “people are buzzing” about the reunited exes. Her co-host, Sunny Hostin, believes that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez still “love each other.”

The couple even managed to blend their families. Reports suggest they live in separate homes and are on “two completely different pages.”
