“Joe Exotic” Details

Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon will play the role of Carole Baskin, a big cat enthusiast who learns that fellow exotic animal lover Joe “Exotic” Schreibvogel (John Cameron Mitchell) is breeding and using his big cats for profit.

Carole Baskin determines to shut down his venture, not knowing that he would dig up something mysterious from her past to crumble her and he will stop at nothing to expose her for what he sees as hypocrisy.

The limited series will be based off of other works, which are in turn inspired by the real life rivalry between two big cat lovers.
