‘Life Below Zero’ Season 23 Premiere Date, Cast, Sneak Peek

National Geographic fans wondered if Life Below Zero would return for Season 23, and a recent promo sneak peek revealed the cast and other spoilers. Read on to find out the premiere date and watch the video. 

Life Below Zero Season 24 Spoilers & Cast

If you are a fan of Sue Aiken who literally fights for her survival at a lonely station in the brutal conditions of Alaska, then you will be happy to know that she returns for Season 23. If you enjoyed Next Generation, you might be pleased to know that some of that cast will join Sue Aiken and other familiar faces. 

Life Below Zero fans can expect to see Johnny Rolfe and the Roach family as well as Jessie Holmes,  Ricko DeWilde, and the Hailstones. However, it looks like National Geographic fans won’t see Chris and Jessi Morse. Still, there’s plenty of action as winter sets its grip over the most rugged state of America. Additionally, it looks like Gage and Avery Hoffman will also feature in the show.

Premiere Date & Where To Watch

The National Geographic synopsis for the newest season reveals:

At the onset of the winter season, Alaskans face new threats to their survival. But the dangers of the Arctic year have only just begun. Kavik is slammed with a brutal storm as Sue Aikens races to fortify camp. Ricko DeWilde seeks an elusive animal in the Alaskan Interior. The Hailstones must seize an opportunity to fish under the ice. And Johnny Rolfe strives to secure food in the Brooks Range.

The Premiere for Life Below Zero Season 23 can be found on National Geographic on Tuesday, October 8, 9/8c. As for streaming, you will have to wait a bit longer. The show will be available on Hulu and Disney+ on March 19. Of course, you can also purchase the season on Amazon, Apple TV, and Google Play. 

The Sneak Peek

The promotional sneak peek that dropped on YouTube on September 19 doesn’t show much, but it’s clear there’s a lot of action in the hellish conditions of an Alaskan winter. National Geographic fans seem keen for the new season and they dropped some comments on social media:

• I am so excited to see Johnny and the Roach family join some of my other favorites – Jessie, Ricko, the Hailstones, all together!!! ❤️
• I am excited to see the “new folks” that have come in from cancelled spin-offs!
• I cant wait to see what Jessie Holmes is up to while he prepped for the racing season. Always interesting watching the Hailstones, Ricko and Sue.
• To see Agnes and her girls, Ricko and his family along with the Roach family. It’s nice to see them all hold on to tradition. They are the true Alaskans along with many others whose names I cannot recall. I’m sure many will have favorites as well as some who may not hold our interest. Looking forward to the new season.
