Hallmark Channel News – Catherine Bell Teases Fans On Instagram

In the world of Hollywood, nothing lasts forever.  Just ask the average actress, who knows that no matter how wonderful a TV show or movie, it will eventually end.

And Catherine Bell knows that fact all too well as a result of her Good Witch experience.  When Hallmark debuted the popular show in 2015, it seemed like one of those series that would last, well, forever!

But after seven seasons, Hallmark decided to cancel the show.  And since series finale in July 2021, fans of Bell have hoped to see her land elsewhere.  Now Catherine has given her followers hope in an Instagram story, reported Heavy.  But first, Bell teased fans by asking them to send her guesses via her Instagram.

Offering the first clue, Catherine shared that she was flying to Canada for the new role.  And that apparently meant leaving early in the morning, given the cute exchange that Bell had with a follower. 

The fan’s joke about the wee hours in which the actress posted included this advice: “If you had any sense, back to bed.”

Catherine immediately responded, “Oh I wish!” she joked in response.  But then the actress got serious, urging her fans to share their guesses about for whom she was filming the movie.  One fan guessed that Bell had chosen to film a Hallmark movie. 

But the former “Good Witch” star labeled that guess wrong. “Not Hallmark this time,” responded Catherine.  And then came the winning guess of “Lifetime Movie!”

Hallmark Channel News – Catherine Bell Offers Clue To Lifetime Movie

In addition to revealing that she would star in a Lifetime film, Catherine Bell posted a photo of a movie poster.  And that pic may have offered a clue about her new film.

The movie happened to be one that Erin Krakow did.  “Look who I found in the hall of the production office! @ErinKrakow,” wrote Bell for the caption. 

Erin Krakow s for “A Cookie Cutter Christmas” from 2014 that aired on The Hallmark Channel.  This might be a hint that the same company that produced Krakow’s movie is now producing Bell’s movie for Lifetime.

The movie was produced by Johnson Production Group and Annuit Coeptis Entertainment II. Johnson Production Group has a number of movies currently listed on IMDb as being announced, in pre-production, or filming, including “A Suburban Affair,” “Fugitive Brides,” “I Do,” “Caught in His Web,” and “Psycho Swim Instructor.”

Annuit Coeptis Entertainment II doesn’t have any listed on IMDb since 2018.  However, this doesn’t mean that one of the movies listed is the one that Bell is working on.

Hallmark Channel News – Will Hallmark Revive ‘Good Witch’ With A Movie?

Despite the cancellation of Hallmark’s “Good Witch,” some fans refuse to give up hope.  And that hope might be rewarded.

The Hallmark Channel has issued a statement about the possibility of a future “Good Witch” film.  “We have no immediate plans for another “Good Witch” movie,” said Hallmark.

But then the channel added a clue about the future of the “Good Witch” cast on Hallmark.  “That said, Catherine Bell, James Denton, and Katherine Barrell, among others, are members of the Hallmark Channel family, and we are in discussions on future projects,” added the channel.
