According to her son, Pauline Potter, who once held the title in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s largest woman, passed after complications from a vehicle accident. The accident news arrived in a YouTube video.

The Car Accident

In his video, Dillon explained about the accident. He said that Pauline “passed away this past Thursday on Thanksgiving.” Actually, it started with a “pretty bad car accident” back in January. He explained that driving in the dark, they hit a “truck and trailer” stopped with no lights on.

The police report said the “trailer’s lights weren’t even connected.” The TLC alum broke ribs and got a bad gash. At the time, nobody seemed to realize how bad Pauline’s injuries were. And in fact, insurers clashed with their version of what happened.

Health Went Downhill

Next, Pauline’s health fell apart. She developed a “blockage in her esophagus” and couldn’t keep food down. She also got COVID.” Later, doctors found signs of “heart failure and respiratory failure.” Additionally, a deep, infected wound on her back made everything worse.

Finally, she went “home on hospice.” Dillon explained that the chances the former My 600-Lb Life star would survive were small. But, they never stopped hoping.

One doctor said the health issues could all be “related to the car accident,” but, Dillon added, “we have no official proof.”

Her Time On The Show

Pauline Potter appeared on the weight loss TV show in 2015, which was a long time ago. But fans recall her because of her unusual background. She’d become a famous fashion designer, writer, and socialite.

However, she ended up being the biggest woman. Nevertheless, she worked hard to shed her weight. Pauline lost over 500 pounds and qualified for skin-removal surgery, becoming an inspiration to many people.
