NCIS LA: Manager Rick Tunell NCIS LA already got some hitches from coronavirus when it comes to production. Well, Season 13 returns in October and fans are worried that it might interfere again. After all, the studios seem to struggle continuously despite strict precautions. A Twitter post by Rick Turnell reveals though, that the filming in time for the October premiere probably looks on track now.

If you don’t watch the Los Angeles segment of the franchise, it’s full of action. Fans watch some very elite people in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. A lot of their action takes place undercover. In the past fans some awesome tense scenes with Soviet moles spies, and rogue agents. However, the coronavirus brought a lot of concerns about the continuity of the show. Plus, people feared that the coronavirus might push the premiere back from October this year.

NCIS LA spoilers emerged that revealed Admiral Hollis Kilbride probably plays a bigger role as Gerald McRaney becomes a series regular in the next season of the show. Other spoilers revealed that the character Hetty Lange ( Linda Hunt) returned and stays on Season 13. Recall, the operational manager was replaced by Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith). USA Today Sun noted, “executive producer R Scott Gemmill confirmed to TV Insider that Hetty would be returning.” However, while it’s nice to hear spoilers, fans just really wanted that the premiere comes in October with no delays.

You might recall that earlier this year, the coronavirus cases in California delayed filming. That came when a sudden surge took place. Other shows like Seal Team were also impacted by the delays from the virus. However at the time, some episodes were previously filmed before the winter hiatus, so fans didn’t see too much disruption. The good news now comes via Twitter where Rick Tunell talked about wrapping filming three days ago. Rick is the production manager, so fans can take it as solid.

NCIS LA wrapped filming so that looks like the way is clear for the October premiere. The tweet read, “4:42pm. That’s a wrap. One more day on ep#1304.

Express UK reported that the wrap is very good news.  The outlet noted, “this wasn’t the first time the crew member shared an exciting update.” Previously, he also shared when the filming for the premiere episode wrapped up filming.

In that post, a warning sign revealed “Pacific West Water Station. Warning. Imminent Hazard.” So, fans took that as a spoiler. Well, it all looks like good news all around. So, for now, fans can probably confidently tune in for the NCIS: Los Angeles season 13 premiere on CBS on Sunday, October 10.
