“Outlander” Season 8 News: Cesar Domboy & Lauren Lyle Making Explosive Return

The married couple left Outlander in Season 6 when they decided to move from Fraser’s Ridge in search of a better life. A lot of this had to do with their son Henri-Christian, as many believed his dwarfism was a punishment from God.

As such, Fergus attempted suicide out of shame; however, Jamie was able to stop him in time and organize a new chapter for the family, in New Bern.

What Should Outlander Fans Expect In Season 8?

While fans missed Fergus and Marsali in Season 7, the good news is that they’ll be back for Season 8. While their exit was storyline-related, actress Lauren Lyle was also busy with the BritBox show, Karen Pirie, as well as the drama The Outrun and thriller Mercy Falls.

In this new season of Outlander, fans can expect to see the Revolutionary War unfold, and with Claire and Jamie returning from Scotland, they’ll get caught up in this, one way or another.

Meanwhile, Brianna and Roger will return from the future and try to figure out where they fit in the 18th century, and Young Ian will be either engaged or married.
