‘Outlander’ Star Sam Heughan Brings Fans To Tears In His Latest Instagram Post

‘OutlanderAs Jamie Fraser in the series “Outlander”, Sam Heughan shared a photo on social media that made his fans shed a tear.

Heughan brought his fans back to the show’s Season 2 finale when he bid goodbye to his on-screen wife, Claire (Caitriona Balfe). He posted a throwback photo of their characters, Jaime and Claire, with the caption, “I’m not crying. YOU’RE crying!”

It was an emotional scene where the two lovingly held hands before Claire stepped on to her journey to save herself and their unborn child from the war.

The post gained emotional comments from the fans who have raised their feelings. One commented with a sad emoji: “Season 2 was just a tear jerking ride from beginning to end.”

“Crying so much. This scene is so heartbreaking,” another one extends the sentiment to the photo.

“Gee! How I cried the first time I watched this episode. And then, I cried again in the second, the third, the fourth time and it will be always this way,” a fan expressed.

After that season filled with tears, the avid viewers of the show were delighted when the couple reunited during Season 3. However, as their love story continues, challenges never cease to test their characters, even in the new season.

As documented by Entertainment Weekly, Caitriona shared some glimpses of her relationship with the new addition character to the show, Malva Christie, played by Jessica Reynolds.

She revealed the Christies are not the typical villains of the show and she has a heartbreaking but great relationship with Malva which the viewers should look forward to.

The star of “Lucifer”, Tom Ellis, has revealed he might be the next addition to “Outlander” which he might unite with his long-time friend, Sam Heughan.

As documented by Hello Magazine, the two actors studied together at Royal Scottish Academy and have this great decade of friendship. They revealed that they almost worked together in “Outlander” and Tom shared the role he auditioned for the show.

“I auditioned for Outlander, not for Jamie Fraser but for Tobias Menzies’ part, ‘Black Jack’ Randall. I remember reading the script thinking, ‘This is really good.’” Tom stated.

Sam showed his support to his friend, saying that Tom would have brilliantly played the role because of Frank Randall’s charming and loveable character. He teased the fans about the possibility of Tom joining “Outlander” and said that the show is waiting for him.

The “Lucifer” star replied, “Well, I’m nearly finished [filming “Lucifer”]. If Covid ever lets us finish this job, then yes.”
