Emily Tosta portrays Lucia Acosta is a straight-A student with goals to attend college. Due to her parents’ immigration problems, she has to reevaluate her life and how she deals with following the rules. Lucia ends up being the child that becomes rebellious, challenges authority, balks at suddenly having responsibilities as the oldest sister and starts to dabble in radical politics.

Party of Five reboot news from Deadline introduces Niko Guardado as Beto Acosta. Although one of the youngest, he is the one who is the first to step up when his family needs him. Although he struggles with school, sports and girls, being the head of the family is a breeze to him. It gives him self-respect and for the first time in his young life, a sense of purpose.

Elle Paris Legaspi plays Valentina Acosta in the Party of Five reboot. She is described as resourceful and precocious. After her parents get deported, she is uncertain how she is going to deal with life and cope with adolescence. She becomes fearful of the future and depends on her siblings to help give her the support and structure she so desperately needs.
