Runaways Finale: Will Fans Be Disappointed?

The Runaways is slowly coming to an end on Hulu. Will fans end up being disappointed in the Season 3 finale? Marvel fans have been entertaining the thought of the Runaways finding new life on Disney+ since its inception. The rumors have been continuing to swirl whether the Marvel TV series will find new life on another platform or network. It’s understandable since fans don’t want to be disappointed by the series finale.

Fans are claiming the end of the Runaways is just another example of a series that gets cut off without a proper ending. Even if other Marvel TV shows have left the small screen too soon, there could be an Endgame for the third season. While fans shouldn’t rule out the possibility of having the show appear on Disney+ just yet, the ending could be satisfying.

To give a proper ending to the story, the Runaways could have more of a thematic closing, according to Showbiz CheatSheet. The characters may relate to the ones on Cloak & Dagger. This means the unrelated teens will discover that they have special powers, connecting them even more to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since both Cloak & Dagger and the Runaways are ending, it would make sense to have a crossover episode. While this information hasn’t been confirmed, the trailer reveals that it could happen.

Ending the third season with a war seems a little more like an Endgame. What better way to end the Runaways than to give it an ending, similar to one of the biggest MCU movies? Everyone has been wanting a crossover to happen with these two shows, and it’s never happened other than through references and rumors. Giving them a big-budget finale with a crossover with the teen superheroes could provide them with a memorable sendoff.
