Padalecki is clearly looking forward to the new things coming into his life. But he will also have a tough time saying goodbye to Supernatural, a show he’s been for 15 years. He’s been the star of the series for over a decade and a half. The actor returned to Twitter with a long list of resolutions. As with all his tweets, this one show’s sense of humor. Some of his new year’s resolutions include reading more books, stop using abbreviations for June and July, speaking in the third person more often, stop procrastinating, and become better at math.
As for his last resolution, Padalecki said he will “give 100% of everything I have to the final 3 months of filming Supernatural. My cast deserves it.” The actor has already revealed what fans will think about the series finale. It should be better than the Game of Thrones’ series finale, which received backlash from critics and fans alike. Like GoT, Supernatural has a dedicated fanbase, and Padalecki wants to make that happen.
Supernatural will return with new episodes during its winter premiere on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. You can always catch up on the previous episodes of the series on Netflix.
