The Blacklist Season 9 Spoilers So Far

NBC fans already noticed that the dreaded time jumps probably take them back prior to the death of Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone). It’s a two-year jump and possibly lays the groundwork for vengeance scenes. Recall, the main character, FBI agent Liz Keen died after being gunned down. Since that marked Boone’s final appearance in the show, it means Raymond Reddington (James Spader) will become the show’s new lead character. However, it looks like the characters spend time grieving for their lost colleague for a bit.

The Blacklist Season 9 spoilers revealed that Reddington definitely features in the show. However, there’s a bit of mystery there. A promo revealed that he looks very different. In fact, he’s completely bald. At this time, it’s too soon to know if it relates to previous illness, or to him going incognito after the death of Liz. Well, in the latest promo for the premiere, another mystery arose. Where is Aram?

The Blacklist Season 9 Mystery Cast Member Amir

If you don’t know, Aram, acted by Amir is a very quirky technician. While he seems a bit wary of Reddington, he had a lot of time for Liz. Previous spoilers about the cast revealed that he is in Season 9. Actually, his actor appears alongside Diego Klattenshoff who acts as  Agent Ressler. Additonally, Harry Lennix returns as Harold Cooper, Laura Sohn as Agent Park, and Hisham Tawfiq as Dembe. So, why did NBC leave him out of the premiere promo last week?

The Blacklist Season 9 promo that leaves out Aram got a mention from Cartermatt. Additonally, Cheatsheet speculated on why he might be missing. After all, he’s quite popular with fans of the show. The outlet wrote, “This could mean a few things: Arison doesn’t appear in the premiere, his storyline is a surprise, or the clip wasn’t conducive to a good tease with Arison in it.”

Some Fans Seem Upset About Liz

In the comments on the promo on YouTube, some fans just don’t seem to care much about the show at all. Actually, losing a character always gets that sort of reaction. While some fans might worry about Aram, others just hate that Liz died. One disgruntled fan penned, “Just wrap it up…..tell all the twists and turns and go out with people still watching. I quit watching after Elizabeth got killed. Can’t take anymore.
