Here’s what you should know to prepare for season 5 of The Good Doctor:

• One of our favorite actresses will vanish from the show! Playing Dr. Claire Brown since The Good Doctor debuted, Antonia Thomas will not star in season 5.
• The Good Doctor will return with its fifth season premiere on Monday, Sept. 27 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
• Dr. Marcus Andrews (portrayed by Hill Harper) will show his support for both Shaun and Lea.
• Shaun’s mentor Dr. Aaron Glassman (played by Richard Schiff) also will step up to help Lea and Shaun.

Other returning cast members include Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim and Fiona Gubelmann as Dr. Morgan Reznick.

In addition, The Good Doctor will showcase a trio of new show regulars in season 5, per Parade. They include Noah Galvin, Bria Samone Henderson, and Osvaldo Benavides.
