‘The View' Faces Massive Cost Cuts: Hosts Take Pay Cuts, Denied Pay Rise

Per insiders, ‘The View’ has taken massive pay cuts that have affected everybody across the board.

From downsized wardrobe budgets to pay cuts and production cost cut, ‘The View’ has been spinning on low cash since its latest season premiered in September 2025.

In addition to this, several of the show’s hosts – Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin – have sadly taken pay cuts.

Insider Claims ‘The View’ Hosts “Are All Mad” Over Cost Cuts

In the new age of streaming, podcasts, and YouTube shows, big studio-backed shows like ‘The View’ have had to take a step back on production costs, in order to survive the competitive atmosphere.

However, nobody is going to be happy about getting a pay cut, or even being denied a raise. At 70, Goldberg, who serves as ‘The View’s’ panel moderator, earns the highest with her mid-seven-figure salary. New mom Sarah Griffin doesn’t enjoy the same luxury. In fact, when she requested for a raise, she was sadly shut down.

The ladies are also dealing with wardrobe cost cuts, in the midst of everything, and they’re not happy about it.

“They’re all mad because they were all wearing really expensive designer clothes, and now it’s the same budget of a Wendy Williams-type show versus a marquee daytime show,” an insider told Page Six. “They keep downsizing and downsizing and downsizing.”

Apparently more cost cuts are expected as the show rolls in for its 30th season this September. In addition to the show downgrading its filming space, the famous Halloween show will be scrapped this year.

To top it all off, it’s been rumored that ABC executives are considering a massive overhaul, in time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the show.

The outcome of this is that Goldberg and some of the other hosts may have to say goodbye to ‘The View’ panel.

However, a separate Hollywood insider confirmed, “No one is being replaced. The table is full.”
