According to The View spoilers, Joy Behar wanted to take an extended break from the talk show. Once again, she’s drawn speculation that she wants to retire. On Thursday, January 25, the hosts discussed the nine-month cruise.

Moderator Whoopi Goldberg mentioned a TikToker who discussed the possibility of turning this unique vacation concept into a reality series.

She asked the panel if they could take a break for that long. Joy Behar shared that she “would do it.” She asked the executive producer, Brian Teta if he could give her nine months off. He only responded with a laugh. Joy warned him that she would take off for that long.

Whoopi loves the idea of filming the talk show from the cruise ship. She looked at the camera and asked The Serenade of The Seas for a special request.

The Cruise Line is called the godmother of the cruise ship. According to The View spoilers, Whoopi wants this godmother to make their wishes come true.

“You should have a conversation with us and see if we can get anyone who can handle to go take as much time as they could on the ship,” Whoopi said.

Sunny Hostin asked Brian if this meant all the hosts could stay on the ship for at least one week. He shook his head and said “No.” Joy Behar whined, “I wanna go.” Sara Haines admitted that she could never stay on a cruise for that long. Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed that she would feel seasick.

The View spoilers tease whether Joy Behar will retire. In September 2023, she addressed the rumors during an episode of The View: Behind the Table podcast. Brian opened the show with a question about the retirement rumors.

People are always asking me, ‘Is it true Joy’s retiring? Is Joy walking out?‘ I said you enjoy this too much. I think you like doing this,” he said.

“First of all, people like me don’t retire. I’m a creative person…I’m a writer,” Joy Behar explained. “There’s no such thing as retiring. You mean, will I quit this show?”
