The Voice Fans Show Proof Show Is ‘Rigged’ After Finale

Season 26 of The Voice recently concluded with an electrifying two-night finale that crowned Sofronio Vasquez as the champion.  While many celebrated his victory, others took to social media to express dissatisfaction, sparking debates about the competition’s fairness.

The Voice – The Grand Finale: A Night to Remember

The finale was a star-studded event, featuring performances by Kelly Clarkson, Tears For Fears, and Dan + Shay. Over two nights, the top five contestants—Jeremy Beloate, Danny Joseph, Sydney Sterlace, Shye, and Sofronio Vasquez—battled for the coveted title.

Sofronio ultimately triumphed, bringing home a win for Team Michael Bublé in his debut season as a coach. Sofronio’s standout performance of “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman was a defining moment. His consistency throughout the season earned him the title, making him the first Filipino and Asian winner in the show’s history.

Fans hailed him as a deserving champion, with one viewer commenting, “I’ve followed your journey since the audition and hoped you’d win. Congratulations, Sofronio!”

The Voice –  Fans Question The Results

Despite the celebration, not everyone was thrilled. Some fans accused the show of being rigged, pointing to inconsistencies in the process.

A social media user on X (formerly Twitter) claimed, “Now I know for sure the Voice is rigged. Jeremy just said the voice found him and reached out to him!! Ain’t you supposed to voluntarily/willingly decide yourself to go on the voice!?”

Others noted peculiarities during the finale, with one fan alleging, “Can we talk about how they lined up the contestants in the order they finished??” These sentiments were echoed by viewers who believed other contestants, such as Sydney or Shye, were more deserving. One frustrated fan remarked, “JEREMY IN FIFTH IS CRIMINAL. I’m livid. Tf is wrong with people?.”

The Voice – Divided Opinions On Sofronio’s Win

The backlash wasn’t limited to accusations of rigging. Critics argued that Sofronio wasn’t the best singer, with one detractor saying, “The last 2 shows his voice cracked, and he couldn’t hit a high note to save his life! Only American Idol produces stars!”

Another fan expressed disapproval of Bublé as a coach, stating, “SORRY but, NBC PICKED Softonio & Bublé to Win because he’s a sore loser and that guy is a horrible singer.”

However, a significant portion of the audience stood by Sofronio. Supporters praised his journey, talent, and groundbreaking win, with one fan celebrating, “This is making me emotional. Congrats to the Filipino Phenom, Sofronio Vasquez!!”
