TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After” star Paul Staehle is a worried man these days – after a very public fight and then a cry for help finding a missing Karine Staehle and Pierre Staehle on social media, which he later deleted, now he says he needs a miracle to ensure that he does no more jail time!

Paul and Karine both put restraining orders against the other one, but of the two, the one Karine had Paul served with is much more damning and much more to cause Paul to have to go to jail. Several years ago, he violated a restraining order by texting an ex-girlfriend who accused him of domestic abuse and stalking, and that reads as a pattern by police. Karine accused him of marital rape and had called the police to intervene.

She and Pierre left for a safe place with the police. The cases were heard on August 11 in the Louisville, Kentucky district court. Some fans were confused when they saw a recent message in Portuguese – leading some to think that Karine possibly posted it since Paul has never been known to speak Karine’s native language. A fan was able to translate it, and it turned out that apparently Paul himself posted the message, which turned out to be a short prayer in his Instagram bio asking God to grant him a miracle.

He didn’t exactly spell out what type of a miracle, meaning it could merely be wanting to make up with his wife and baby boy, but then, with his prison and a felony record, he could easily be in danger of going back to prison based on Karine’s allegations in the restraining order, which included marital rape and sexual abuse, and at times keeping her prisoner in her own home, and stalking.

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Paul Staehle Doesn’t Deny His Criminal Past

Paul doesn’t deny his criminal past – he admitted on his very first “90 Day Fiancé” appearance that he had done prison time for arson, although it was a brief time. He claimed he had burned some personal property in an attempt to commit insurance fraud, although he didn’t say anything about the previous stalking accusations and restraining order he violated – it was fanned with some pretty good detective skills who found that out!

He tried to make up with Karine by posting a touching message on his Instagram account saying he was sorry, but she’s no longer following him. He also posted he was willing to forgive Karine for her accusations, which of course implies he thinks they are unfounded, which rankled those fans who take Karine’s side against his.

For Karine’s part, she says she wants no more to do with Paul and will let the American court system settle things between them, although she also is planning to file for a divorce from him, according to a recent Instagram post of her own. She also plans to file for permanent sole custody of Pierre and stated that Paul is a narcissist – which is entirely possible!

The remaining episodes of the fifth season of the show may reveal more of what led up to this horrific blowup between them. In the meanwhile, Paul’s supporters worry that he may be facing more prison time.
