Tim Malcolm and his co-star, Veronica Rodriguez recently lost their spot on the show to Big Ed Brown and his mother, since he and Rosemarie Vega are no longer together. It may seem an awkward combination in a show focusing on romantic couples, but they seem to be drawing more viewers than Tim and Veronica.

Tim and Veronica have even put a petition online for fans to sign in an effort to regain their spot on the popular TV shows. However, TLC has not made a final decision as of this writing about the future of the couple in regards to their remaining a part of the “90 Day Fiancé” franchise, but they appear to be sticking with Big Ed and Mama Brown as their replacement cast members.

Tim, in particular, is going all out against Big Ed and he recently made fun of Ed on social media, regarding his latest appearance on “Pillow Talk”. In fact, Tim has made it his mission to diss Big Ed Brown in a series of recent Instagram posts! Tim claims that Big Ed lacks charisma in recent episodes, even though the most recent appearance by Big Ed in Pillow Talk was just a cameo.

Big Ed appears much more frequently on “B90 Strikes Back” as has his former fianceé, Rosemarie Vega. Those barbs traded back and forth were actually pretty funny at times, as when Rosemarie revealed Big Ed’s mayonnaise hair treatment made him stink!

Tim launched what could almost be described as an online smear campaign against Big Ed via Instagram. In addition to Tim’s accusations that Big Ed lacked charisma, he also shared a screenshot picture of a viewer’s complaints that Big Ed was not funny. Tim then posted another message from a somewhat disgruntled fan who claimed Big Ed’s “Pillow Talk” appearance was worse than his previous replacements, Karen and River Everett!

Tim and Ed are likely to engage in a social media war, given that Tim has even been leaning on TLC to fire Big Ed! Considering Big Ed’s strained relationship with Rosemarie, and her fans being upset with him over that, Tim seems to be “striking back” at Big Ed where it could hurt!

Fans have also separately petitioned TLC to bring back Tim and Veronica, so we will just have to see where this goes since many feel Big Ed’s arrogance is a turnoff! It could very well turn out that the social media drama over Tim Malcolm and Big Ed Brown may be much more entertaining than even the “90 Day Fiancé” programs themselves!
