TLC ’90 Day Fiance – The Other Way’ Spoilers: Armando Rubio Breaks Down In Tears As He Tells His Parents About Himself & His Plans

TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé – The Other Way” spoilers and updates show Armando Rubio, fiancé of Kenny Niedermeier having an emotionally difficult time as he talks again to his parents about himself and his plans with Kenny and his daughter Hannah in a sneak peek of Monday, June 22nd’s episode, “My Life In Seven Suitcases”.

Armando Is Afraid To Break The News To His Parents, But He Knows That He Has To

“90 Day Fiancé – The Other Way” viewers will recall that Armando has not spoken to his parents in three years; he came out to his late wife and mother of his daughter Hannah, but then his late wife was the one to tell his mother when he would have preferred to tell them himself. That is why he hasn’t spoken to them in three years but now, with Kenny moving to Mexico to be with him, and their plans to move to a town within driving distance but still, further away he has to tell them.

He is afraid to tell them because from what he understands from others’ comments – likely those of his sister – they are still not accepting of his being gay and it will be even a bigger blow to them that he is taking his daughter along when he and Kenny move. This move is to a bigger city, which will provide more job opportunities. Armando has been living in a separate house on his parents’ property and running a doggie daycare and Hannah living with him. He doesn’t want his parents to stay in denial about who he is as far as his sexuality.

90 Day Fiance Spoilers – There Is Also An Age Gap Between Armando And Kenny

There is also quite an age gap between Armando and Kenny; Armando is thirty-one and Kenny is fifty-seven, although a very young-looking fifty-seven. Kenny doesn’t look a whole lot older than his oldest son, but Armando’s parents may have a problem with the age difference even if he could gain their acceptance of his sexuality. Even if he was dating a woman that much older, his parents may object on the basis of age difference alone – and his plans for continuing to raise Hannah with Kenny and moving away may be a huge thing for his parents to accept.

Armando Is In Tears In A Clip From The Program

In a clip from the program, Armando is in tears – as is his mother – as he talks to them about himself. He reminds them he tried to talk about it once before, and that he spent his whole life hiding who he really is. He acknowledges his marriage to a woman previously may have confused his parents; and explains he did it more for them so that people wouldn’t talk negatively about them on account of him.

He goes on to tell them that there were many nights he spent crying alone because of hiding who he truly is. He tells them that it has been hard living his life feeling like his parents don’t love him, which brings his mother to tears.
