TLC “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way” star Brittany Banks says in a recent Instagram post that Americans are severely undereducated, compared to the rest of the world. It looks like she did her research!

Brittany Posts A Section Possibly From Wikipedia About Jordan

Brittany posted photos of a section of an article about Jordan, but there is no source listed. Then if you click across the arrows it is followed by a photo of Squarebob Spongepants and then a list of education rankings by country, from a source she has called “Best Countries For Education” but there is no actual website listed and neither Jordan nor the United States is shown on it!

The article on Jordan states that over forty percent of the population lives in Amman, which is the capital of Jordan so that would not be surprising, the entire country of Jordan only taking up 34,495 miles with a population of 9,956 million according to the World Bank. Amman’s population is 4.008 million so her figures are right concerning the population.

The article section goes on to say that Jordanian pop culture is heavily influenced by Western culture and that European and American movies, entertainment, music, and fashion are favored by Jordanians. The article section also states that among mainly the small minority of rich Jordanian youth, that parties and clubbing are popular and present in the richer section of Amman and that malls, Western-branded hotels, and Western-branded stores and clothing are popular. It also states that English is preferred over Jordanian Arabic among the rich. – NOT! –according to what Brittany writes!

Brittany Blasts What Appears To Be The “90 Day Fiancé” Crew About Not Doing Their Research

Brittany doesn’t actually specify that it is the “90 Day Fiancé” crew or showrunners that she calls the “loud and wrong crew” but she does define them – as the ones who told HER to do research that THEY hadn’t done themselves. Considering the culture clash she experienced with Yazan Abo Harira, her 90-day fiancé in the parking lot of the Amman airport in a recent episode, it makes sense to assume that is indeed who she may be talking about, although she may merely be talking about fans who have been negative towards her.

She writes that after she had traveled extensively, she found out that Americans were severely undereducated compared to the rest of the world, and states that the United States ranks 37th in the world for math and science, which the article section she clipped and attached to the three-part photo gallery on her Instagram article may bear out, but it doesn’t show either the USA or Jordan in that clip. It doesn’t number the countries it does show either.

She is obviously upset that many Americans don’t do their research and think intelligence is part of being a US citizen or they repeat what they see on television and assume those that we watch have already done the research so they don’t have to. Perhaps that is her point of including Spongebob in the photo gallery! She also points out that those who haven’t done their research often skew the facts to fit their own agenda (Fake News, anyone?) and continually make assumptions that threaten and violate individual integrity.

She also talks about the United States being way behind in citizenry possessing passports, and that the numbers are only 42% compared to other countries. She thinks more Americans need to travel to other countries to see how other cultures and cultural groups actually live and does applaud the TLC network for including so many people of color in their programming.

She also says more Americans need to watch the “90 Day Fiancé” franchise and notes that it is a good way to get educated. She blasts those who have trashed her and Yazan getting together as it would never happen and writes that they live in a box and should get out and try new things!
