TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way” star Deavan Clegg is blameshifting her treatment – or perhaps that should be her perceived treatment – of Jihoon Lee to TLC editing!

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Deavan Clegg And Jihoon Lee Have Seemed To Have Been In Nonstop Relationship Problems

Viewers know that Deavan and Jihoon have seemed to have been in nonstop relationship problems almost from the start, and struggling to try to get into a better place in their relationship. Deavan has said numerous times, including to Jihoon himself, that he needs to grow up and be a responsible adult and parent, and work to support himself and Deavan and the kids, her daughter Drascilla from a previous relationship and their child together, Taeyang.

Jihoon wants Deavan and the two children to stay in South Korea where he lives, but what viewers are seeing is that Jihoon himself is not making it easy for Deavan to want to do so. Even so, Deavan has seemed to be the one who has been getting heat from “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way” fans for her mistreatment of Jihoon, and now she is finding herself on the defensive and clarifying their situation to haters!

Of course, anyone who is paying any attention at all to the couple and how they treat one another, and their actions can tell that the main issue – which is a huge one – is trust. Jihoon has an unfortunate tendency to either embellish the truth of a situation to where he is telling half-truths or else outright lie, to achieve his goals.

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Jihoon Lee Has Lied Many Times To Deavan Clegg

Jihoon has lied or misrepresented situations many times to Deavan, this season telling her he had a good-paying full-time job just so he could get her and the kids over to South Korea for a visit! Deavan paid for a month rent on an apartment that wasn’t a very good one, or in a safe part of town, by looking on the Internet but Jihoon should have worked to find one on his own even if she did pay a month.

They eventually found one, but they still continued to have problems. Deavan considered leaving Jihoon because of his habit of dishonesty several times, and he had admitted onscreen that all he had was a part-time delivery job, and that was really all he wanted – he claimed he wanted time to take naps! Deavan felt tricked and decided she needed some time away from Jihoon to know whether she wanted to stay with him or leave him permanently and go back to America with the kids!

However, some fans have felt Deavan was at fault, for being too focused on money and material things, and that she should not berate Jihoon for not having the same viewpoint as she does, or the ability to make more money or be career-minded. The couple got into an even bigger argument when Drascilla took off in the night and ran into the street and Jihoon did nothing to stop her, and some viewers took issue with Deavan blaming Jihoon for not stopping her when she, the mother, and none of the other adults standing around, including her own mother, Elicia, did nothing to stop Drascilla either!

Deavan explained on her Instagram account that Jihoon was distracted by playing a game on his phone when Drascilla ran. She said at that point he was probably ten feet ahead of her, where he had also been carrying Drascilla on his shoulders – albeit upside down – and Deavan had Taeyang, so it would have been easier for Jihoon to catch the little girl.

Drascilla was nearly hit by a car and Jihoon turned around and started shouting at Deavan! She couldn’t remember exactly what he said except he was cursing – and this scene was filmed over a year ago. But Drascilla stopped and came back to her mother before she suffered any harm.

She admitted that she and her mother should have controlled their tempers better at the time, but she blamed TLC’s editing for making the situation seem worse than it was, and much more dramatic. She said she didn’t approve of editing that could have put her family’s life in danger, and the last two episodes that aired had put her family’s life in danger!
