Tracker Star Justin Hartley Hints at a Shockingly Dark and Gripping Season 2 FinaleTracker spoilers and updates reveal there are only two episodes left of season two. This season has been quite a rollercoaster, featuring Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) journeying from New York to New Orleans and soon returning home; the narratives have grown increasingly gripping.

The Final Two Episodes Of The Season Are Darker

It’s no surprise that this series reigns supreme on linear television. Yet, a couple of episodes remain, and it appears they aren’t shying away from intensity. In a recent discussion, Justin Hartley cautioned that the last two episodes of the season are poised to be quite ‘darker.’

What insights does the star from This Is Us and Young and The Restless provide regarding the conclusion of the second season? Only two episodes of Tracker Season 2 are left to air, titled ‘Rules Of The Game’ and ‘Echo Ridge.’

Rules Of The Game-Second To Last Episode

In the gripping penultimate episode titled ‘Rules Of The Game’, Colter finds himself under the employment of Reenie Green’s (Fiona Rene) enigmatic new employer, Leo Sharf (Pej Vadaht).

This chapter takes a deeply personal twist as Reenie becomes ensnared in a lethal vendetta.

The episode features Melissa Roxburgh as Dory Shaw, Colter’s sister, who reveals a hidden truth about their family’s shadowy history.

Colter’s memory of a traumatic event that he can’t quite reconcile continues to drive him, and it’s part of him he has to come to peace with.

Echo Ridge-Season Finale

In the gripping finale titled ‘Echo Ridge,’ Colter returns to his hometown to rescue a kidnapped diner owner, only to stumble upon a long-buried abduction case and a startling family revelation.

Wendy Crewson guest stars as Mary Dove Shaw, teasing viewers with her words, ‘Buckle up;’ what could she be hinting at?

Fortunately, Justin Hartley recently shared insights with The Hollywood Reporter regarding the concluding episodes of Tracker.

He revealed that the last two episodes will delve into darker themes, but he assures that there’s a compelling reason behind it. ‘It’s crucial to keep raising the stakes,’ he emphasizes.

Justin Wants To Show That Colter Is Mortal

Justin continued, “I enjoy portraying Colter as a hero who finds people and faces challenges- I also appreciate seeing him in thrilling and risky situations. It’s important for the audience to remember that he is human and not invincible; he can die; his actions are very perilous”.

Justin has considered Colter Shaw and the audience’s expectations-for most of the last two seasons, viewers have seen him as calm and methodical, successfully solving his cases.

This season began with a long-standing case he has pursued for years; he finally solved it this season with some assistance, showing how much he has improved as a tracker. Now, it appears that Colter will confront his own mortality, allowing the audience to see his vulnerability.
