Daniel is in the bakery, Mari asks why he keeps running off to her, doesn’t she want to meet the family. Daniel says they want to keep it on the down-low, Natalie shows him a photo of them kissing and asks him how long he thinks that is going to last.

Daniel is with Noa, he is late with her breakfast. She tells him that he could have a cooking show, the camera loves him. He says that he already has a job, he has to take over the bakery. He shows her the picture that Natalie showed him, she says great, there goes their bubble. He assures her that they are going to figure it out. In the meantime, there is another group of sharks they have to deal with, his family. She says she would love to meet them.

Vanessa is in the bakery, she tells Mateo that he is her number one client. He tells her to keep quiet, nobody knows about it. She says she got him another gig for that evening.

At the bakery, Daniel tells the family that Noa would love to meet them and he invited her to dinner. Daniel tells them not to make a big deal about it. Then he drops on the family that she is coming to dinner that evening.

Noa is working, Lewis tells her to be careful about going to Daniel’s house and jokingly says he hopes they aren’t going to elope.

At home, Daniel gives the family the rules for the dinner with Noa. Rafael says that Noa is their guest and she will be treated to the best. Natalie helps Daniel pick his shirt, she says that she is dying to meet her but she promised to take Amy to the movies. Daniel says he needs her there and tells her to invite Amy to dinner. Meanwhile, Mateo calls Vanessa and tells her that he has a sore throat and cannot do the gig.

The doorbell rings, Daniel goes to answer it, and it’s Amy. Natalie welcomes her and says they were bumped because they thought it was her. Noa walks in after and says, anybody home. She brings flowers for Mari, a bottle of 21-year-old rum for Rafael. Daniel does the introductions. Noa tells Mateo that he has a bright future ahead of him, she liked his song that they played at her party.

Lewis is on a blind date, his name is Trevor. Lewis says that this is not going to work out, in the end, he will blow him off for his work, and then he will get upset and this will be over. Trevor laughs and says that Noa told him what he was going to say.

Noa tells Rafael that she was hoping to get a tour of the bakery and seeing where the best pasties in Miami are made. He takes her downstairs, he says he is down by 5:00 am, he learned to bake from his grandmother, she made him help her to keep him out of trouble.

She says she knows that her life is crazy and she is a bit of a tornado coming into their home. He tells her that her life is intoxicating, but he doesn’t want Daniel to lose sight of who he is or where he is going. She says she cares about Daniel and she shares his concerns. The two hit it off well.

Noa and Rafael go back upstairs. Everyone has dinner together, there are plenty of smiles, laughs, and toasts. Meanwhile, even though Lewis didn’t think he would have a good time on his blind date, he is having fun with Trevor.

Mari tells Noa the story about how she and Rafael first met. Noa then asks about the other two love birds, Natalie and Amy. Mari says they are not a couple, they are just friends. Natalie runs from the table, Amy runs after her. Noa feels horrible, then Vanessa walks in and asks what the hell is going on. Vanessa brought soup for Mateo for his sore throat. She says it took her six months to get invited to family dinner.

She doesn’t understand why they would all treat Noa better than her. Vanessa turns around and dumps the soup on Mateo, tells him to find a new manager. Vanessa goes to the door, Daniel tries to calm her down. She says she wants to finish the conversation they were having the night she proposed. Daniel tells her that they are not going to be happily ever after and that is not because of Noa.

Vanessa slaps him in the face. Natalie is in the room with Amy, she asks her if she just came out to her very catholic parents. Amy says she is not going to pressure her, whatever makes her happy, whatever she wants. Natalie leans in and kisses Amy, who kisses her back.

At the table, Mateo leaves to change his clothes. Noa tells Mari that she is sorry, Mari tells her that it is none of her business.

Noa goes to sneak out and the paparazzi are outside the bakery, she can’t leave. She calls Lewis and he says that he is on his way.

Vanessa tells Mari and Rafael that she is leaving. Noa comes back in the kitchen and says she is trapped. Amy comes back into the kitchen and says she is gay.

Mari tells Natalie that she doesn’t know what she is talking about, she is too young to know what she is. Natalie tells her off, she tells her this is not a choice, it is who she is and they will have to deal with it. Natalie leaves the room with Amy. Noa, Daniel, and Mateo are sitting at the table. Vanessa comes to the table and tells Noa she doesn’t understand why she says she is trapped. If she were with Daniel, she would go outside and tell everyone that she was with him.

Vanessa gets up and goes downstairs, Mateo follows her and says this is not a good idea, she is better than this. He tells her that there is a man out there for her, that appreciates her intelligence and her beauty. She tells him to move before she rips his face off. Vanessa goes outside, the paparazzi is there, she does nothing. Lewis is out front, he tells her that he will get her out of this.

Rafael and Mari are in their bedroom, she says she should have seen this and feels like she doesn’t know her daughter.
Amy leaves. Noa and Daniel are upstairs, she tells him the tabloids are invasive and she doesn’t want to leave with him because they will write about this. She then says she is sorry, she shouldn’t have come, but she wanted to meet his family. Rafael says there is a third way out of the house, there is a trap door, Daniel goes with her to make sure she is ok. Lewis drives up to the front of the store, Rafael comes out and gives him his order, diverting the attention off of Noa. Unfortunately, a paparazzi make it into the tunnel as they are coming out and asks Noa to introduce him to her friend.

Rafael goes in to see Natalie, he tells her that he doesn’t know for sure, but she probably knew about this for some time. She says she wanted to tell them but she didn’t know-how. He says everything he and her mother do in this life is for her and her brothers and nothing she can do will make them love her any less. He tells her to give her mother some time, she is an amazing person, she just needs time.

The next day, Lewis calls Trevor, he leaves him a message and apologizes for the drama. He says that despite it being a really good date, it would probably best if they don’t see each other again. Lewis is at the doctor’s office, the doctor says the time comes, they need to talk about his options.

Noa and Daniel are in bed, she is worried about going public and twice it didn’t go well for her when she dated regular guys. He says he can handle it, he wants to be with her. She says ok, time to see what is going on outside the bubble. They both look at their phones.
