The Walking Dead: Does Maggie Greene Survive The Final Season?

The Walking Dead Season 11 comes along on August 22 on AMC. Fans can’t wait for it, but with mixed feelings. After all, it will bring an end to one of the most enthralling shows in the last decade. Along the way, many beloved characters came to a grisly end, and each time, fans felt shattered and unhappy. Now that a new teaser for the final season has dropped, it might hint at the fate of Maggie Greene, (Lauren Cohan).

The Walking Dead Spoilers – Will Maggie Greene Die?

One of the most unsatisfying exits from the show was Rick Grimes. Recall, he went off with The Helicopters, and never a whiff of his whereabouts give any hint as to his fate. Fans really hoped to see him make a comeback, However, it looks like that won’t happen. Apparently, he was mistakenly credited for Season 11 by IMDb. The correction apparently kills those hopes stone dead. Well, thank goodness that Norman Reedus survived in his role of Daryl Dixon which pretty much saved the day.

The Walking Dead spoilers suggested that Maggie Greene takes up a lot of screentime. Norman Reedus said that much of the first 10 episodes revolved around her fate. However, he never let out any more spoilers about it.  What we do know, is that in the new season, the Commonwealth will become a big problem for our heroes, and a lot of them get imprisoned. Well, a new teaser hints that Maggie might not actually survive, and possibly it’s all tied into those pesky Commonwealth soldiers.

The Walking Dead Spoilers – Come In A Teaser

This week, a new teaser dropped for Season 11 of TWD. In the opening scene, Maggie says, “What we have compared to everything that’s out there, it’s rare.” Next, the teaser flips to a short clip that shows her accepting a gun from Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Well, it looks like they want to take back and keep what is theirs. Clearly a difficult time, Judith (Cailey Fleming) gets the kids training at fighting with their swords. Plus, Daryl shouts out about never leaving their own behind.

The teaser revealed that Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam)  gave everyone a pep talk before they went into action. Meanwhile,  The Daily Mail reported that Maggie’s death is certainly hinted at in the new The Walking Dead teaser. They wrote, “In the final seconds of the action-packed preview, released Thursday, the 39-year-old star could be seen dangling by her fingertips.” Of course, that doesn’t mean she actually died, but it’s a very strong hint that she gets into serious trouble.

When Normas Reedus gave a few spoilers, he talked about twists and turns. With news that two new cast members come in, the twist might revolve around one of them named Tomi. Does he have a hand in Maggie’s ultimate fate? Find out when TWD premieres on AMC on August 22.
